Art began as a dream I was afraid to start.
My name is Diana Kobrosli-Lytvynchuk, and I create under the name Kolyd. I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, and I am now based in London, England.
After years immersed in professional sport, art felt like a dream I was afraid to begin. Then one day, I saw a jellyfish drifting through dark depths on my smartwatch screen. That moment changed everything.
I started painting a year and a half ago, and I haven't stopped since. My jellyfish are imaginary, inspired by the cosmos as something vast and boundless, and by creatures of extraordinary beauty.
